Imarec – Industrial Materials R&D competence and transfer of knowledge center for SiC 

The objective is to facilitate silicon carbide research and industry R&D approaches for technology advancements.

The center is a virtual one in which we gather a number of SiC professionals. We meet online to discuss cases and developments. Each contributor can decide how much they will be active. The benefit is that each contributor also gets feedback on what is relevant.

We have many years of experience in materials manufacturing and networking in SiC. Our competence can facilitate the industrial R&D. The center acts as a meeting node for such exchange and supportive activities.

Our focus is industrial R&D, the interface between research and industry.

The main motivation is that there must be more sharing of information and co-development. Then there will be more outcomes which actually are realized instead of ending as published papers.
